Ocean City Waterfowl Outfitter & Guide Service

About Us

Ocean City Waterfowl Outfitter & Guide Service provides safe and successful waterfowl hunts for American Veterans, people living with a disability, and groups or individuals that support those communities.  We hunt out of our 22' fully handicap accessible boat.  Our hunts for Geese, Puddlers, Divers and Brant take place in the bay overlooking Ocean City & Assateague Island, Maryland.  Capt. Clifton Rogers has 20 years of experience hunting in the area & will have pre-scouted hunt locations.  The hunts are fully guided by the Capt. and will take place out of our 22' custom duck boat.  The 16' tender boat is towed to the hunt location and used in handling the decoys and retrieving birds.  The decoys are all hand made by Clifton Rogers and approx 100 will be used in our spread.

How it works

Our Mission:  Ocean City Waterfowl Outfitter and Guide Service is dedicated to enriching the lives of American Veterans, people with a disability, and groups or individuals supporting those communities.

Our hunts are free of charge for American Veterans, and people living with a disability.  If you are a American Veteran, or have a disability you are allowed to bring one person with you to hunt free of charge as well.  If you are not a Veteran or have a disability you are still invited to go on a hunt with us.  We ask for a minimum donation of $100 per hunter and you will receive a tax deductible receipt.  We have to run hunts-for-a-donation in order to offset the expense of the boat and equipment.

We will meet at a pre determined location where you will follow the Capt. to the boat.  If you use a wheelchair we will have the boat ready at a launch ramp.  There is a access ramp on the boat that folds down and meets the cement boat ramp.  On the boat there is chair tie downs.  (please note: odds are we will get a little wet from spray off the water.  If you feel like your chair will be fine, then ok.  Honestly it wouldn't be that bad really, I'm really conscientious that we stay as dry and safe as possible.  4 hunters max. 100$ minimum donation per person,  There is 2 heaters on the boat.  You will need to bring: Maryland hunting license with federal and state stamps (signed).  A shotgun in good working order that you are familiar with. Non Toxic shotgun shells. Warm camo or earth tone clothing (water resistant helps since the will be some spray from the boat and or rain/snow) .  Warm boots (waders are not necessary since we will be hunting from the boat).  A camo hat.  Snacks and drinks.

A 50% deposit must be made at the time of booking for applicable hunts.  If you cannot attend your hunt we will try to reschedule.  You may and we prefer if you could send a alternate person in your place.  If rescheduling is not possible you will receive a tax deductible receipt for your 50% deposit.  We operate on a season to season basis, so we cannot reschedule for next year.  If you are a American Veteran or disabled you and a friend can hunt free of charge.  Additional non-Veteran or non-disabled people must pay a 100$ donation.
